Off to Malendure and the Jacques Cousteau Nature Reserve

We spent a week in Malendure, meeting new friends, having lots of sundowners and getting much walking in. There were three grocery stores within a mile of the dinghy dock. We made several trips down there and lugged everything back (mostly Tim). We did several loads of laundry. Tim went snorkeling with a friend, while I waited on the boat. I had an ear infection, so I couldn't snorkel.

One evening we were invited to go to shore with a group. We ended up at a bar/restaurant for drinks. A while later, a band began to set up their drums. They played for awhile. Then, the lead singer tried to pull Trisha up to dance. She refused. He wouldn't take "no" for an answer. I got up to go in her place. He excepted. We danced for a while, to the beat of the drums.

Later, we tried to find a place for dinner. It was a Sunday night and all of the restaurants were either closed, full or not open yet. We walked and walked and finally turned around and went home. That will teach us to make a reservation for dinner in France.
