We Dropped Anchor Four Times in Anse Mitan

Anse Mitan is a large, lovely anchorage, with room for hundreds of boats. We motored over

to the the smaller section of the anchorage and tried to drop anchor three times, but it wouldn't grab. After moving to the front of the larger section, we grabbed on the first try. We tidied up quickly and dinghyed into town. The dinghy dock was broken but we were able to use it anyway. We walked around town and found a place for lunch. The next day we searched for a grocery store in the "village", which turned out to be a tourist shopping area. Maggie found a restaurant with free wifi, so she sat there for hours, working out her plans for the St. Thomas/St. John portion of her trip. When she finished her work, she joined me in a little shopping. Since Tim went back to the boat earlier, we called him for a pickup. Dinner and bedtime came quickly as we were moving on the following day.
