We finally found a taxi to take us to the zoo. And what a day or was!
We were to meet our taxi at 10:00, but it began raining early in the morning. It was pouring at 10:15. I texted the driver, telling him that we had to cancel because we couldn't get to the dock. He said he would wait. Finally at about 10:45, there was a quick break in the weather, so we hoped on the dinghy and raced to the dock. Ten minutes later we were in the dry van and on our way. It was beautiful and sunny in the rainforest. It was early and the animals were active. As we climbed up into the trees, we saw many. Finally, we entered the suspension bridge area. We traversed about ten bridges, climbing higher and higher through the rainforest. Eventually, we began to climb down, viewed more animals and made our way out of this paradise. It was absolutely fantastic! What an adventure!
