After three weeks of hanging out in Annapolis, we finally left, but only for a few days. We motor/sailed to another marina-filled town, Rock Hall, Maryland. The first day we walked to town, ate lunch out, toured the small shops, and met an artist at a small co-op. Christine was very interested in our sailboat and our adventures, as she was also a sailor. She and her husband had been to many of the same locations a number of years ago. When I contacted her the next day, she invited Tim and me to a sundowner at her house, near one of the marinas. She found us a nearby slip for our dinghy, picked us up at the marina, and brought us to her house. Christine had also invited another sailing couple and put out a delicious spread. We had a lovely time that evening. Liveaboard sailors are the friendliest people!
The following day we sailed back to Annapolis for a short stop on our way to St. Michaels.
Tim had to go back to Urgent care, as his ear infection had not healed completely and was getting worse again. He was prescribed more medicine and sent home to rest. The next day I ventured out to Eastport alone. I took the water taxi, went to the farmers market, did some sight-seeing and met some potters at their ceramic workshop and store. It was a lovely day.
It is again, time to move on. Time to go to St. Michaels.
