We signed up for the PAYS Yachting Festival. P.A.Y.S. - Portsmouth Association of Yacht Security is a group of small boaters who provide assistance with moorings, customs/immigration, taxis and tours. After a lovely evening visiting friends on their Super Maramu 2000 (just like ours), we finally got a weather window to move to a new place. Into the Rainforest in our Rental Car!

After waiting three weeks in Guadeloupe, we finally got our 2 day rental car. We started off bright and early in the morning in order to get the most out of the small, standard Dacia brand car. We finally found a taxi to take us to the zoo. And what a day or was! We were to meet our taxi at 10:00, but it began raining early in the morning. It was pouring at 10:15.
